In 2006 Anne Arundel County Red Cross volunteers and staff...

• Responded to 70 local disasters, including fires and severe weather
• Assisted 95 local families after disasters
• T rained 27 volunteers in emergency response

• T rained 2,899 persons in first aid and CPR
• T rained 2,675 persons in aquatics safety skills
• Provided 3,500 persons with Red Cross disaster preparedness information
