Red Cross workers from Central Maryland Assist
Flood Victims

Over 30 Maryland Red Cross workers are currently on the scene in Houston helping to provide food, shelter, and medical and emotional support to hundreds of displaced flood victims.

The death toll stands at 31, with Texas, Louisianna and Florida the hardest hit. Red Cross workers and volunteers, and other local government groups are working hard to ease the recovery process. Each day, more volunteers and donations pour in from the community and across the nation.
