The Frederick Chapter of the American Red Cross is in search of a highly motivated and adept Director Emergency Services to ensure the delivery of American Red Cross Emergency Services in accordance the American Red Cross policy, procedures and the guiding principles of the Red Cross movement. 

Required:  A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in public administration, business administration, emergency management, psychology, social work or a related field is required. Prior management experience with a proven track record of creating and maintaining a highly motivated, trained team. Strong focus on volunteer recruitment and work team empowerment and delegation. Prior experience in an emergency services/disaster response environment plus.

Desired:
American Red Cross Emergency Services experience and disaster/emergency response a plus.

Hiring Range:  $32,000 - $35,000

t

The Central Maryland Chapter of the American Red Cross is seeking committed and reliable Health Instructors to teach CPR and First Aid courses in Baltimore City and surrounding counties. Training will be provided.

Required: Qualified candidate will possess a High School diploma; valid MD driving license with own transportation, solid teaching skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be reliable and accountable in scheduling and fulfilling teaching commitments. One year previous teaching or training experience (school teacher, training specialist or previous Red Cross instructor) is necessary. Flexible schedule is a must – position is during weekday hours and occasional weekends on a per diem / “on call” basis.

Desired: AA degree or higher and current Red Cross instructor.

Hiring Range: $12.77 - $13.82
