While most of us prepared for picnics or parades this holiday weekend, nearly a dozen American Red Cross volunteers helped residents of the Diamond Ridge Apartments in Woodlawn, when 16 units were destroyed by a fire early Saturday morning.

More than 20 people received food, clothing, shelter and other crucial assistance from the Red Cross.

You can help your neighbors with emergency and and humanitarian needs by making a donation today. Be it disaster relief, disaster preparedness, first aid and CPR training or emergency communications to members of the armed forces and thier families, you can help support these important services and programs. The Red Cross is more than you know. Donate now.
