In the spring of 2009, a Young Professionals group was started at the American Red Cross of Central Maryland. The group began with nineteen members and today has touched hundreds of professionals in the Central Maryland area. The mission of the group is to cultivate future leaders and supporters of the American Red Cross. We hold monthly meetings, quarterly private Red Cross tours, as well as networking events and an annual gala, A Night for the Red.

How to Get Involved

Attend an Event: If you would like to be added to our Events List, please email yp@arc-cmc.org with your name and email address. You will receive updates about tours, networking events and the A Night for the Red gala. Events

Attend A Tour: Tours are held for the general public twice a month. Private Young Professional’s tours are held quarterly. To join us for a tour please contact cbrooks@arc-cmc.org.

Become a Board Member: If you would like to learn more about joining the Young Professionals as a board member please contact cbrooks@arc-cmc.org . Board members meet the first Monday of every month. They help plan events and are trained in various Red Cross preparedness programs.
