Disaster Relief & Preparedness
The Red Cross provides 24-hour disaster relief to victims of natural and man-made disasters. Following a disaster, victims look to the Red Cross to help them with financial assistance for food, clothing, shelter, emergency medical needs, household furnishings and occupational supplies. Whether it’s a single family fire or a major flood, tornado or hurricane, trained Disaster Action Team members from the Central Maryland Chapter quickly respond to human needs in times of crises.
